Chick Brooder Heating Plate : Exactly like a mother hen, this brooder plate provides a warm place for baby chicks. The chicken brooder heater keeps warm and provide a comfortable place for newborn baby chick to get enough warmth and safety like from mother hens, which is most important for newborn.

Goods are shipped via Australia Post or our nominated courier (depending on the size & quantity of the goods).

Please read whole description before you buy this item as it contains important information about the product and the postage. Madees is an online business based in Canberra , ACT.  You do not need to worry about long weights and surprise import GST or custom duty.   We are not drop shippers, we import and stock these items. This item is in stock  and will be shipped within 3 business days from our Canberra warehouse . Many sellers now the days pretend to be in Australia, where as neither they are in Australia nor they have product on hand when it is sold. Most of the drop shippers are not Australia based although the pretend to be , when you place an order with them,  they buy the item from suppliers in China and ship it  to you. This whole exercise can take several weeks/ months before you receive your item. You may also have to pay import GST , custom duty and custom clearance fee. Chick Brooder Heating Plate :
  • The plate comes in 4 different sizes : 10” x 10” suitable for 15 day old chicks , 12”x12” suitable for 20 day old chicks , 16”x16 suitable for 30 day old chicks , 24”x16” suitable foe 50 day old chicks.
  • Thermostatic Control: This plate has thermostat to control temperature. Temperature can be set from 10 C to 60 C. Setting temperature is very easy. Just press set button once, the tempura figure in display will start blinking. Use + and – buttons to increase or decrease the temperature. Select he the temperature you want under the plate and then press set button.
  When temperature is lower than set temperature, the heater will be on, the red light on display unit will be on. When desired temperature is reached the heater and red light will turn off. However temperature will still go up, may be 1 – 2 degree centigrade as heating plates keep heating while power supply is cut off.  
  • Adjustable Height: The brooder plate can be adjusted from 1.5” to 7.3” to meet different stages baby chick’s height request. For legs and heavy duty plate provide a stable and safe place for them. 10” X10” plate can warm up to 15 chicks comfortably and freely.
 
  • 13Watts, Energy Saving: The heating plate is made of premium high temperature resistant non-flammable materials, it uses only 13 watts in an hour . It is more environmentally friendly and energy-saving.
